When you join the GSCC you become part of the area's most effective business group, and by joining you add another business with which others can engage. You can share your knowledge and expertise, and in turn you get access to a new business network from which you can benefit. Our diverse membership reflects the area's broad mix of entrepreneurs from artists, writers, and digital media talent to service providers and professional in law, finance and government agencies. Our membership ranges from self-employed to the area's largest employers. We are proud that dating back to 1900, members do indeed own the chamber.

The GSCC is the voice of the area business people, and it's a voice that can help our members build successful businesses. The chamber provides high-quality networking opportunities and delivers quality training and educational opportunities and is the CONNECTION from business to business. In addition to assisting local business grow and prosper the GSCC represents our members on the larger political and economic stage through our voice as an accredited chamber and a member in good standing in the Atlantic and Canadian Chambers of Commerce.

Currently we are owned by 442 members representing more than 4300 employees in Greater Summerside. Membership dues are based on the number of full time employees (or full time equivalent) that your business employs.
(Example of Full Time Equivalent: 2 part time staff = 1 full time employee).

Membership Fee Schedule

As a member of the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce, any of your business employees are welcome to attend Chamber functions and participate in Chamber activities, however only Representatives have voting rights. If you wish to add additional Representatives to your membership, please add $50.00 (plus applicable tax) per additional Rep. to the above rate.
